When your child is absent:
1 - Please dial 610-534-1900 and listen to the prompts for accessing the TAP attendance. Calling this attendance line DOES NOT excuse the child from school. Calling the number acknowledges that you are aware of the absence.

2 - Please send in an absence note the following day or email. A doctor's note is required for 3 or more consecutive days absent.

3 - All absences beyond 10 cumulative days (including approved trips) require a written excuse from a physician. All absences are unlawful until the school receives a written excuse from the parent/guardian explaining the reason for the absence. Illness, family emergency, religious holidays, approved travel, or medical appointments are the only permitted reasons for an absence.

4 - Family trips require approval. Please contact your child’s school to complete the Extended Absence Form. If approved, the days will be considered excused; however, they are included in the number of days absent.

5 - Students with 3 or more unexcused absences within the month of a school activity or field trip, they will not be eligible to attend.

Chronic Lateness/Tardies:

1- Students need to be seated in homeroom by 8:25 a.m., or they will be considered late.

2- Students arriving later than 11 a.m. will not be able to participate in any clubs, events, sports, or after-school activities on the same day.

3- Students who have 5 or more unexcused tardies within the month of a school activity or field trip will not be eligible to attend.

4 -Tardies are only excused with a doctor's notes, family emergencies (funeral, etc). Reasons such as running late, traffic, weather, the train, car troubles, etc, will not be accepted.
