Ridley High School is thrilled to announce its Annual Festival of the Arts Remake Learning Days, set to take place on May 21 and 22 at the Ridley High School. The TGR Foundation has partnered with the district to add STEM and the movement arts, as students demonstrate what learning can look like. Food will also be available for purchase during the event hours of 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. This eagerly anticipated event promises a spectacular showcase of student talent, featuring a diverse range of artistic expressions and engaging activities for all ages.
Event Highlights:
K-12 Artwork: Experience an extraordinary display of creativity with artwork spanning all
grades, from captivating paintings and drawings to innovative sculptures and mixed media
pieces.
Live Music: Enjoy captivating performances throughout the festival, including highlights
from the Ridley bands, presenting a mix of classical, jazz, and contemporary pieces.
Animation Premiere: Don’t miss the premiere of a feature-length animation movie from the Rugrats producers that was created by students from 17 Pennsylvania schools, including
Ridley! (Thursday Only)
Horticulture: Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature through a special horticulture
display, featuring student-grown plants and garden designs. (Plant Sales)
Industrial Arts: Explore the craftsmanship of our students in the industrial arts program,
with exhibits highlighting woodworking, metalworking, and technical projects.
Culinary Arts: Indulge your senses with culinary delights prepared by our talented culinary arts students. Sample an array of delicious dishes and discover the skills behind their
creation.
Costume Museum: Step into history with the Costume Museum, showcasing theatrical
costumes designed and crafted by Ridley students.
The Locker: Visit our school store featuring a selection of Ridley-themed merchandise and
essentials. (Wednesday Only)
Food: Parent groups will be selling food on both nights in the cafeteria.
Additional
Activities: Expect more performances and engaging activities throughout both evenings. There will be performances from the elementary step teams, RHS Drama, RMS Flags, and more. Interactive activities like parachute games, unified bocce, corn hole, cookie decorating, scavenger hunts, dance parties and more.
Admission Information: The Festival of the Arts is open to the public and free of charge. We warmly invite families, friends, and community members to join us in celebrating the vibrant arts community at Ridley High School. Festivities commence at 6:00 PM and conclude at 8:30 PM on both nights. Parking will be limited, but families can contact their elementary principal for shuttle bus options.
