Please dial 610-534-1900 and listen to the prompts for accessing the Attendance Line when your child is absent or tardy. You may also email HSlateoffice@ridleysd.org. Please give your child's name, teacher name, and reason for absence.
All absences are unlawful until the school receives a written excuse from the parent/guardian explaining the reason for the absence. Illness, family emergency, religious holidays, approved travel, or medical appointments are the only permitted reasons for an absence.
Absence notes should be received within 3 calendar days of the absence. A doctor's note is required for 3 or more days absent. All absences beyond 10 cumulative days (including approved trips), require a written excuse from a physician.
