Ridley Middle School is inviting the community to “eat out and do good” in support of a meaningful cause tied to one of its most cherished annual traditions.
On Friday, February 13, community members are encouraged to order from The Juice Pod and help support the Linda Egan Memorial Scholarship Fund. Ten percent of all in-store and regular takeout orders will be donated directly to the scholarship fund. (Please note: orders placed through third-party affiliates such as DoorDash or Uber Eats are not eligible.)
The fundraiser supports the Egan Classic, Ridley Middle School’s long-running basketball event that brings together eighth-grade boys’ and girls’ basketball players and faculty members for a friendly and spirited competition. The event honors the memory of Linda Egan and raises funds for a scholarship awarded annually to a graduating Ridley High School senior who has demonstrated excellence in Family and Consumer Science courses.
Over the years, the Linda Egan Memorial Scholarship Fund has made a lasting impact, awarding scholarships to more than 50 students. Proceeds also help support Ridley Families in Need, a district initiative that assists local families during times of hardship.
Community support from local businesses like The Juice Pod plays a vital role in the continued success of the scholarship fund and the Egan Classic tradition. By simply placing an order, families can contribute to a cause that directly benefits Ridley students and families.
