Eddystone Elementary School is inviting families and community members to attend a free bike education event on Thursday, November 6, at 6:30 p.m. The program will take place at the school, located at 1410 9th Street, Eddystone, PA.
The evening will focus on promoting safe riding practices for both bicycles and e-scooters. Parents and students will have the chance to learn important “rules of the road” and hear tips for safe riding in the community.
A special helmet fitting station will also be available. Families are encouraged to bring their own helmets to be properly fitted, and a limited supply of free helmets will be provided to students in need, while supplies last.
Organizers hope the event will not only promote safety but also encourage more families to enjoy biking together. With growing interest in cycling and e-scooter use, the program provides a timely opportunity to help riders stay safe and confident on the road.
This community initiative reflects Eddystone Elementary’s commitment to supporting student safety and wellness both inside and outside the classroom.
