Amosland Elementary's 15th Annual Awareness Walk Continues Tradition of Supporting the HEADstrong Foundation
Amosland Elementary School is gearing up for its 15th Annual Awareness Walk, a cherished tradition that pays tribute to the legacy of Nick Colleluori, the founder of the HEADstrong Foundation, and his brothers who attended the school. This event, scheduled for Friday, April 26, promises to be a powerful demonstration of community solidarity in the fight against cancer.
For the entire month of April, the Amosland community rallies together, spreading awareness and raising funds for the HEADstrong Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by cancer. Nick Colleluori, a former student of Amosland Elementary along with his three brothers, continues to inspire the community with his courage and resilience in the face of adversity.
The highlight of the month-long campaign is the Awareness Walk, a symbolic journey that sees the entire school marching through the Amosland neighborhood. The route passes by the childhood home of the Colleluori boys, serving as a reminder of their connection to the cause.
