Volunteering

Criminal Background Checks for Volunteers

Legislation in Pennsylvania now requires community members and parents/guardians to obtain clearances in order to volunteer in our schools.

A volunteer is any individual in an unpaid position with a program, activity or service who is individually responsible for the welfare of one or more children or has direct contact with children (defined as: the possibility of care, supervision, guidance or control of children or routine interaction with children).

Drop off completed paperwork at your child's school office. Please be prepared to present a valid driver's license or other valid photo identification.
