Dear Parents and Guardians of the Class of 2026,

As we approach the end of the first semester, it’s time to prepare for one of the most significant milestones in your student’s academic journey, graduation. The past 12 years have led to this moment, and we are excited to guide your family through the final steps toward commencement.

To ensure all necessary preparations are completed, we ask for your collaboration with your student to complete the Cap, Gown, and Diploma Form (https://bit.ly/RHSCapGownOrder2026), which will be available starting Thursday, January 8, 2026. This form is essential for ordering your student’s cap and gown and verifying the name that will appear on their diploma. The deadline to submit this form is Friday, February 13, 2026. Please note that any orders placed after this date cannot be guaranteed. We encourage you to discuss with your student who will be responsible for filling out the form, as this should be a joint effort. The name on the diploma will match the first, middle, and last name listed in PowerSchool. If your student prefers a derivative of their proper name (e.g., "William" to "Will") to appear on their diploma or be announced during the ceremony, this can be specified in the form. Please note that nicknames will not be allowed on diplomas.

The cost for the cap and gown is $40, payable through SchoolPay, the same platform used for technology fee payments. Payment must be completed to secure your order. The Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. As in previous years, spectators will be issued numbered tickets. By the start of February, we will provide a graduation packet with detailed instructions and all the information you need to plan for this momentous occasion.

We are thrilled to celebrate your student’s achievements and look forward to honoring the Class of 2026 at this milestone event.
