Dear Class of 2025,

As we approach the end of the first semester, it’s time to prepare for one of the most significant milestones of your academic journey—graduation. The past 12 years have led to this moment, and we are excited to help you take the final steps toward your commencement.

To ensure all necessary preparations are completed, we ask that you and your parent or guardian work together to complete the Cap, Gown, and Diploma Form (https://bit.ly/RHSCapGownOrder), available starting Tuesday, January 14, 2025. This form is essential for providing the required information for ordering your cap and gown and verifying the name that will appear on your diploma. The deadline to submit this form is Friday, February 14, 2025, and any orders placed after this date cannot be guaranteed. Please take time to discuss with your parent or guardian who will be responsible for filling out the form, as this should be a joint effort.

The name on your diploma will match the first, middle, and last name in PowerSchool. If you prefer a derivative of your proper name (e.g., "William" to "Will") to appear on your diploma or be announced during the ceremony, you can specify this in the form. Please note that nicknames are not allowed on diplomas.

The cost for the cap and gown is $40, payable through https://www.schoolpay.com/, the same platform used for tech fee payments. Payment must be completed to secure your order. The Class of 2025 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. As in previous years, spectators will be issued numbered tickets. The security measures and commencement format will remain the same as last year.

To ensure clear communication, a letter with this information will also be sent home to all parents of graduating seniors. By the start of February, we will provide more details, including a graduation packet with everything you need to know.
