The Interboro and Ridley School Districts in conjunction with the U.S. Army will be hosting the U.S. Army March on Hunger on 21 January 2019. Over the past two years this joint effort has collect over 50,000 thousand pounds of food for our local food bank.

After the holiday season local food banks have their greatest need as the holidays often bring the greatest demand. To bring attention to this and to aid in offsetting needs, the U.S. Army, in conjunction with the Interboro School District along with Ridley High School will be collecting canned goods and other nonperishable items at each high school from January 2nd through January 21st. On January 21st the Army will collect all food after the rivalry basketball games conclude. The soldiers will then Ruck March the collected items to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry.

Both Interboro and Ridley are committed to developing successful academic and athletic leaders. This event helps to educate our athletes on the importance of community and brings our young people together in that spirit.
