Application Information

The two classifications for personnel working in the school district are professional and classified. Professional employees include our teaching and administrative personnel. Individuals serving in other areas of the district function in support roles to the instruction. Procedures for becoming an applicant in the district for each group are explained below.

Candidates interested in establishing an application file with the district should submit only a letter of interest and resume. All materials should be submitted to:

Ridley School District utilizes PA-REAP to access the standard teaching application for professional applicants. Prospective professional employees should post their application online at www.pareap.net. The site is also the only external posting location for professional vacancies. The Personnel Office will review information posted at that site when vacancies become available.

Individuals interested in substitute teaching should include a statement in the letter of interest and post the standard teaching application on www.pareap.net.

Teaching applications are kept on file for a period of one year, unless an individual provides a notice or update to the file. Applicants may send a note requesting the file remain active from year-to-year. Updates to the file may also be made at any time.

The Ridley School District maintains a list of applicants who are interested in a variety of support staff positions including: instructional paraprofessional (minimum of an associates degree), non-instructional paraprofessional, secretarial, maintenance, custodial, food service, technology, bus driver, bus aide, and nurse.
